LB Vegan Curates Eats

Honestly we can’t wait to get our hands on some of that delicious grub. This dude has been vegan before being vegan was a major health option in Southern California. Its a great time to be a live and an even greater time to go vegan. Here’s more on LB Vegan.





In his element you can catch LB Vegan, better know by his friends in Long Beach as German Rivera, snapping pictures of some of the tastiest vegan plates that Long Beach has to offer. For some this is eating, but for German its business research. By trade, he is an award winning Graphic Designer and Web Developer. These days he uses his design skills to produce pop-up vegan food events across his stomping grounds of Long Beach.

LB Vegan is nothing short of a hustler. Across Los Angeles and Long Beach, with a focus on retro row, LB Vegan has quickly made a name for him by hosting several vegan pop-up events. This is why he knows by so many damn good vegan food vendors. We consider him to be very lucky! lol.

Phalasee – Hip Hop Gives Host

We are excited to announce that Phalasee has been confirmed to host this year’s function. That’s two dope hosts that will help Hip Hop Gives continue the giving movement. Karla Torres, better know as Phalasee is a HipHop artist who’s performed all over Los Angeles. Other than performing original content, you can also catch her hosting some of the hottest HipHop shows in your city.



She’s worked at venues like The Airliner, The Lexington and Los Globos. She also co-hosts the Bside Show every Monday night, bringing you the best Hip Hop interviews, live DJ sets and performances.





She’s worked along side Chino XL, R.A The Rugged Man, Ras Kass, Big Traydee from the Eastsidaz, Reverie, R-mean, Vel the Wonder, Hi-Tone and many more.


Alumni of the Los Angeles Recording School, she pursuing a career in the entertainment industry on stage or in radio.

Krazy Race – Hip Hop Gives Host

This year Hip Hop Gives will be hosted by the realizm rekords icon himself, Krazy Race.





“KRAZY RACE” is a LA County native and Chicano who has been a staple in the underground/independent Hip-Hop movement for years.


Krazy Race has released 5 Albums, 2 Mixtapes, 1 EP and has been featured on numerous compilation CD’s, mix-tapes & featured on albums from all over the world.


His discography for features has accumulated to over 25+ projects. He has done International Shows in Spain & Japan and has performed in New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, Portland, Los Angeles & more.





He’s rocked over 200+ shows in his career with Immortal Technique, KRS-One, The Beatnuts, M.O.P, The Psycho Realm, Boot Camp Clik & more.


He’s also been featured & interviewed on TV Networks like Mun2, LATV, KCal, ABC, SiTV & more. Krazy Race has songs with Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples, Chino XL, Sick Jacken of Psycho Realm, Kid Frost, Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill, I-Man from Tha Mexakinz, KAM, Quinto Sol, 2Mex, Bambu, & many more.


Krazy Race is also a community activist, radio show host of Relevance Radio on, Street Photographer/Videographer and Indy label Owner. He launched the independent record label Realizm Rekords in mid 2007 and since has released over 13+ releases with artists/groups like Mesidge, Illicit Dialect, PhaizRok, Akademex & More.

And we’re super amp’d to bringing you the 4th annual Hip Hop Gives benefit concert! We are returning to Boyle Heights and we cant wait.


We’re about a month away from showtime. The 4th annual Hip Hop Gives benefit concert will be held at Self Help Graphics & Arts in Boyle Heights! And we can’t be more excited. Here’s a little more about Self Help Graphics & Arts and what they offer the community.




Self Help Graphics & Art fosters the creation and advancement of new works by Chicana/o and Latinx artists through experimental and innovative printmaking techniques and other visual art forms. They are an organization rooted in community; and since 1973, have been at the intersection of arts and social justice, providing a home to foster creativity and the development of local print artists, as well as international collaborations and worldwide cultural exchanges.
